The Sophomore and Senior Defense
Am I college, career, and community ready?
Students will identify and defend three of the artifacts from their portfolios.
Using evidence from their portfolios, the student will defend his or her mastery of the East Los Angeles Performing Arts Magnet creative, academic, and leadership skills.
Of the seven categories, students will choose three to defend to a panel of teachers, partners, and community members, including parents and guardians.
The deliberation of the panel will result in a yes or no vote. If the vote is no, the student will present again at a later date taking into account the recommendations of the panel.
